Sharon Schweizer
Sharon Schweizer is a dedicated and versatile wellness professional who supports the body’s natural capacity for balance, ease, and clarity. She is a Certified Trager® Approach Practitioner and the only Licensed and Registered Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist in Indiana. Sharon is also a Registered Somatic Movement Educator and Therapist, a Somatic Movement Consultant and Educator, and a Sound Reflection Artist featuring Native American-style flute. She is the founder of Potency of Touch LLC, a trauma-informed wellness practice offering integrative, body-mind centered care for individuals and organizations.
Since graduating from an internationally accredited program in 2018--with advanced study in Canada, the United States, and Italy--Sharon has worked with clients of diverse ages, abilities, and backgrounds to improve physical comfort, mental clarity, emotional regulation, and overall quality of life. Her work is grounded in a deep respect for the body’s innate intelligence and its capacity to restore balance when given safety, awareness, and supportive conditions. Sharon’s holistic approach emphasizes gentle, effective methods that encourage ease of movement, nervous system regulation, stress reduction, trauma release, and sustainable well-being.
Sharon creates a calm, supportive environment where clients are invited to slow down, listen inwardly, and reconnect with their bodies. Many clients seek her work for chronic pain, recovery from injury, nervous system dysregulation, postural challenges, and the cumulative effects of stress or trauma. Through mindful touch, somatic movement education, and sound-based practices, Sharon helps clients develop greater body awareness, resilience, and self-trust that extends into daily life.
As a Somatic Movement Consultant and Educator, Sharon also brings her expertise into workplace wellness and injury prevention. She partners with organizations to address repetitive strain, chronic tension, and work-related stress through movement education, ergonomic awareness, and practical tools that support healthier movement habits on and off the job. Her workplace pilots and programs are designed to reduce injury risk, improve comfort, and support long-term employee well-being.
Outside of her professional work, Sharon enjoys traveling and restoring her historic home. She is fluent in American Sign Language and lives in Indianapolis with her rescue dog, Oreo.
