Important Note

My work with animals is not veterinary care, physical therapy, massage therapy, or medical treatment. I do not diagnose, treat, or cure illness or injury. These sessions are intended to support relaxation, comfort, and overall well-being and are meant to complement—not replace—veterinary care. Please consult your veterinarian for any medical concerns.

Guardians often notice their dogs:

**Settle more easily

**Breathe more deeply

**Soften physically and emotionally

**Rest more comfortably

**Show greater ease in movement or posture

Every dog leads the session, and nothing is forced.

This work may be supportive for dogs who:

**Experience anxiety, stress, or reactivity

**Are aging or slowing down

**Have experienced trauma or major life changes

**Are highly sensitive or easily overwhelmed

**Need a calmer way to support their well-being

This work is not appropriate for emergency situations or untreated medical conditions.

What This Work Is

This is a gentle somatic approach that prioritizes safety, consent, and settling of the nervous system.

The intention is to create conditions in which the dog’s system can soften and settle.

What This Work Is Not

This is not veterinary care

This is not physical therapy or rehabilitation

This is not massage therapy

I do not diagnose, treat, or cure illness or injury

Please consult your veterinarian for any medical concerns, pain, injuries, or changes in health.

This work is especially well-suited for dogs who do not respond well to forceful or high-stimulation approaches.

Changes may be subtle and cumulative rather than dramatic.

What to Expect in a Session

Sessions take place in my studio and are designed to be unrushed.

Your dog sets the pace

Touch is optional and always respectful

There is no manipulation, stretching, or pressure

Breaks, movement, or rest are welcome

Guardians are present

Some dogs choose stillness; others explore, lie down, or come and go. All responses are appropriate.

A Consent-Based, Animal-Led Philosophy

Consent is central to this work.

Dogs communicate clearly when given the space to do so. I work by observing and responding to subtle signals rather than imposing techniques. If a dog indicates they are finished, the session adjusts accordingly.

This approach supports trust, safety, and long-term regulation.

Studio Environment

My studio is intentionally designed to be:

quiet and low-stimulation

clean and comfortable

free from pressure or expectation

This setting allows dogs to arrive, orient, and settle at their own pace.
